About ClinicsIT

Clinical IT simplified through experience, documentation, and practical support.

Owner-led IT support for independent clinics and small healthcare organizations that need experienced help without the cost or complexity of a full internal IT department or a large bundled support program.

Technology leadership with more than a decade of medical IT experience.

ClinicsIT is owner-led by an Idaho IT professional with more than 25 years of technology experience, including over 10 years supporting medical and clinical environments. That background includes serving as Director of IT for a local credit union, with hands-on leadership responsibility for security, infrastructure, business continuity, vendor management, user support, and regulated operations. A Bachelor of Science in Information Technology supports a practical, disciplined approach to keeping clinical technology reliable, recoverable, and well documented.

Practical recommendations—not unnecessary complexity

Recommendations are based on actual risk, workflow, cost, and maintainability—not on selling the largest possible package.

Client details and sensitive configurations are kept private. Examples and guidance are presented without exposing protected or proprietary information.

What this means for your clinic: You receive practical guidance from someone experienced in both day-to-day technical support and regulated business environments. Recommendations consider reliability, security, staff workflow, recoverability, maintainability, and cost—not technology for technology’s sake.

Direct accountability without the help-desk handoff.

Clients work directly with the person responsible for reviewing, performing, testing, and documenting the work. ClinicsIT can support one urgent problem, a defined improvement project, or an ongoing support relationship—without forcing every small clinic into the same large monthly package.

Direct communication

The person learning your environment remains accountable for the work and next steps.

Flexible engagement

Hourly, project-based, and ongoing options allow the relationship to match the clinic’s actual needs.

Clinic ownership

Domains, cloud accounts, documentation, recovery methods, and critical vendor relationships should remain under clinic control.

How engagements work

1

Understand

Identify the business problem, affected users, existing systems, and urgency.

2

Plan

Agree on scope, responsibilities, schedule, and expected cost.

3

Execute

Complete the work carefully, test it, and coordinate with users and vendors.

4

Document

Record the setup, decisions, recovery information, and next steps.
